Warning: Could addict you to Lancaster Pamphlets

If you can find them fairly cheap, these Lancaster Pamphlets are well worth it for half-narrative, half-analysis introductions to their topics.

This one covers four long-lived rulers Brandenburg-Prussia that brought the disparate place to the fore of Europe in a century's time, setting the table for their most famous scion, Frederick the Great. Shennan expertly describes the foreign and domestic policies of George William (30 Years War), Frederick William (The Great Elector), Frederick I (King in Prussia) or III (Elector of Brandenburg), and Frederick William I (father of Frederick the Great). Their policies are compared and contrasted, common threads gathered, etc., all in a compact discussion that's not too hard to follow and that goes well beyond Wikipedia.

The little volume also includes a detailed chronology, nice little map, a genealogy, and bibliography that doesn't seem too out of date considering the book was published in 1995.

About the Author
Alireza Bahadori, Ph.D.,�is a research staff member in the School of Environment, Science and Engineering at Southern Cross University, Lismore, NSW, Australia. He received his Ph.D. from Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia.
During the past twenty�years, Dr. Bahadori has held various process and petroleum engineering positions and was involved in many large-scale projects at National Iranian Oil Co. (NIOC), Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), and Clough AMEC PTY LTD.
He is the author of 250 articles and 12 books. His books have been published by multiple major publishers, including Elsevier.
Dr. Bahadori is the recipient of the highly competitive and prestigious Australian Government's Endeavor International Postgraduate Research Award as part of his research in oil and gas area. He also received a Top-Up Award from the State Government of Western Australia through Western Australia Energy Research Alliance (WA:ERA) in 2009. Dr. Bahadori serves as a member of the editorial board and�reviewer for a large number of journals. He was honored by Elsevier to be an outstanding author of the�Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering�in 2009.

I got this edition on a whim b/c it was so cheap. I took it to class on the 1st day and it was the same as the new edition (word for word). Save $$$$ and get this edition or the 5th!!

Bonnie and Clyde part 2 picks up where the first book ended.
It's nice when book 2 is just as good as the first book.
I love Clyde and Bonnie's relationship.
The characters are strong and ruthless
The storyline held my interest

There are a lot of "wannabees" out there but she is the ORIGINAL and she's the MASTER of this type of story. The characters literally jump off of the pages, thanks to the brilliant and totally realistic characters that Alicia Howard creates. Loved it. What more can I say? Touching, hysterical, shocking -- and that was on page 1. The pace was fantastic, the characters were real enough to make me forget it was fiction. It was a journey and I enjoyed every page of the ride. Although I liked her other books as well as this one, this is her best work, as far as I'm concerned.

Bonnie definitely redeemed herself in this book. Marcia placed them in harms way on so many levels and got dealt with as the traitor she was. Belinda was still funny. Clyde and Bing were two of the realist dudes I've read about. I love them. I hated what happened to RahRah, Silk, And Taz. Ninja was crazy, but he got what his hand called for. What happened to Lynch? He was a total surprise, not the coward part. Definitely recommended.

This is a wonderful book and really answers a lot of questions about the soul. I would highly recommend this book to everyone because it doesn't matter what religion you practice, the soul is the soul and I think understanding how all the pieces in this wonderful puzzle fit together will help every person. I cannot say enough good things about this book and I like all the others she has compiled and written too, the Gaia Effect, the Human Akash...just wonderful! I can hardly wait to see what she does next because I know it will be just what I need.
